The President Star Charity show is an annual charity extravaganza that is the highlight of the President’s Challenge, and where funds are channeled to over thirty local beneficiaries to aid the less fortunate.
In 2006, Shawn and Gladys Tay were the choreographers of the Ballroom and Latin American Dance segment of the President Star Charity show, choreographing a Latin, Ballroom and Salsa number that featured popular Mediacorp celebrities such as Tay Ping Hui, Pierre Png, Vincent Ng, Alvin Chong, Jade Seah, and Belinda Lee.
